Easton fastpitch softball bats are superior and have been the industry leader for over 30 years. Easton Sport, Inc is a privately owned manufacturer, marketer and distributor of mostly sporting equipment― archery, hockey, bicycle and camping, drumsticks, baseball and softball equipment worldwide.

When Easton released his first aluminum bat, it puut him to the spot light. It was then that he continued to improve fast pitch softball bats, gloves and bags with a touch of latest technology and functionality. Stealth Clarity and Synergy Clarity are the best known bats.

Stealth Clarity

The Easton Stealth Clarity bat is a mix of high tech flexible composite structures with proven technologies frequently making it the most feared bat in the college, high school and youth baseball all throughout the country. It is famous of becoming more flexible when fully broken in. Also, it gives more pop when hit. This bat is great for individual user but it is not allowed in league play because it provides an unfair advantage in competition. And to counteract such, the various governing boards have set guidelines for bat usage. There is no way to tell when a bat has been used beyond its legal limit.

Clarity refers to the ultra-thin see through layer that encases the surface of the bat. The layer will start to develop tiny white cracks along the surface as the composite material starts to break down. It will be completely white by the time the bat is beyond legal usage. With Clarity, it will be easier to determine the eligibility of the bat and will effectively maintain the honor of the ball game.

The most popular fastpitch softball bat of the Clarity models is the 2009 Easton Stealth Clarity bat. It features ConneXion, a patented 2-piece technology that acts like a hinge and provides the most energy transferred from handle to barrel. Another feature is CNT, a composite material that delivers both strength and flexibility and effectively lengthening the sweetspot. Such combination made up a fast swinging bat with maximum head speed driving power into one of the longest hitting zones.

Synergy Clarity

On the other hand, Easton Synergy Clarity is an Easton fastpitch softball bat. Likewise, it is made up of CNT and also features VRS or Vibration Reduction System which eliminates vibration from hiting, making it the most comfortable bats to use. The Easton Synergy Clarity complies with all bat performance standards like ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, SSUSA and ISF. The Easton Synergy doesn’t use ConneXion technology yet delivers peace of mind to those who worry about breakage.

The Easton fast pitch softball bat is very popular with top performing players. Such bats are made of Sc888 Triple 8 alloy. Furthermore, Easton products have their own exclusive patented technologies. Carbon Nanotube or CNT, Vibration Reduction System or VRS and Visual Composite technology or the VCT/Clarity are just some of the few. They are so designed because they have an evenly balanced bottle bat for a maximum swing. Easton fast pitch softball bats are famous of their sleek and sturdy looks. The total peen anodized finish gives the bat an elegant appearance. These bats also have Ultra Thin 29/32 handle with Pro-Tack cushioned grip. Such model is 1.20 BPF, ASA and ISF certified. So, to top it all, these bats carry a warranty of 400 days.

Fast Pitch Bats

Fastpitch Softball Bats

Softball Sales

Your fast pitch bat is your most important piece of equipment if you are to be successful in fast pitch softball. Bats in fast pitch softball come in various sizes and can be made of wood, metal or high tech composites.

Fastpitch Bat Construction

A softball bat fast pitch can come in different sizes and weights because not all players are the same size. Bats are usually manufactured of aluminum which allows for a lighter weight and an increased hitting power. The lower the weight of the bat the more speed and power can be placed behind a swing to hit the ball harder and further. To decrease the weight of a bat and the vibration felt when contact with the ball, a variety of aluminum alloys in combination with copper, zinc, aluminum and magnesium, graphite and titanium are used.

A fast pitch softball bat can be no more than 34 inches long and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Also, a “drop” of no more than 12 is allowed. The drop refers to the difference between length and weight. It is calculated by taking the length of the bat in inches and subtracting the weight in ounces. For instance, if a bat is 34” inches long and weighs 30 ounces, its drop is -4. The drop will change depending on the level of skill.

Most of the top end fastpitch softball composite bats are made from high technology composite materials like Kevlar and carbon fiber combined with aluminum. All softball bats must have an Amateur Softball Association (ASA) approved stamp with a Bat Performance Factor (BFP) rating of 1.20 on them and be included in a list of approved bats models published by ASA national office. Such rating is used to compare the performance of one bat to another.
